Ingredients

    • 2 cups cooked white or brown rice

    • 3 cups broccoli florets, steamed

    • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup

    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)

    • ½ cup sour cream

    • ½ cup milk

    • 2 tablespoons butter

    • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

    • ½ teaspoon onion powder

    • Salt and black pepper to taste

    • ½ cup crushed Ritz crackers or breadcrumbs (optional topping)


Instructions

1. Preheat & Prep

    • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

2. Cook the Rice & Broccoli

    • Prepare 2 cups of rice according to package instructions.

    • Steam 3 cups of broccoli florets until tender but not mushy.

3. Make the Cheesy Sauce

    • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

    • Stir in cheddar cheese soup, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, and onion powder.

    • Add 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted.

4. Combine & Bake

    • In a large bowl, mix the cooked rice, steamed broccoli, and cheese sauce until well combined.

    • Transfer to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

    • Sprinkle with additional cheese and crushed crackers if desired.

    • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
