Base Layer:

    • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Middle Layer:

    • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce

    • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Toppings:

    • ¼ cup pepperoni slices

    • ¼ cup cooked crumbled sausage (optional)

    • ¼ cup sliced black olives (optional)

    • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat the Smoker

    • Set your smoker to 225°F (107°C) using hickory, applewood, or cherry wood for a mild, smoky depth.

2. Prepare the Base

    • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until smooth.

    • Spread the mixture evenly in a cast iron skillet or baking dish.

3. Add the Marinara & Cheese

    • Pour pizza sauce over the cream cheese layer.

    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly on top.

4. Add Toppings

    • Layer on pepperoni, sausage, olives, or any favorite pizza toppings.

5. Smoke the Dip

    • Place the skillet in the preheated smoker and cook for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Serve & Enjoy!

    • Remove from the smoker and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
